The Schneider BMEXBP1200H Ethernet Backplane is a ruggedized 12-slot backplane rack from the Modicon X80 platform, designed to support Modicon M580 and Modicon M340 Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs). Serving as the backbone / the automation system, the backplane provides power distribution, module communication, and data exchange between processors, communication modules, power supplies, and I/O modules installed within the rack.
The BMEXBP1200H features a hybrid architecture that combines Ethernet and X-bus technologies, enabling flexible deployment / both Ethernet-based and traditional X-bus modules within the same rack. The backplane provides 12 slots, including 8 slots equipped with Ethernet and X-bus connectors for mixed-module configurations and 4 slots equipped with X-bus connectors for standard X-bus modules. This design /fers excellent flexibility when building scalable and high-performance automation systems.
Designed for demanding industrial environments, the BMEXBP1200H is a ruggedized model capable / operating within an extended temperature range / -25°C to +70°C. This makes it particularly suitable for outdoor installations, utility infrastructure, mining facilities, energy applications, and other harsh operating environments where standard backplanes may not provide sufficient environmental tolerance.
With a high MTBF / 1,500,000 hours, the BMEXBP1200H delivers exceptional reliability for critical industrial applications.
