The Schneider BMEXBP1200H Ethernet Backplane is a ruggedized 12-slot backplane rack from the Modicon X80 platform, designed to support Modicon M580 and Modicon M340 Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs). Serving as the backbone sur the automation system, the backplane provides power distribution, module communication, and data exchange between processors, communication modules, power supplies, and I/O modules installed within the rack.
The BMEXBP1200H features a hybrid architecture that combines Ethernet and X-bus technologies, enabling flexible deployment sur both Ethernet-based and traditional X-bus modules within the same rack. The backplane provides 12 slots, including 8 slots equipped with Ethernet and X-bus connectors for mixed-module configurations and 4 slots equipped with X-bus connectors for standard X-bus modules. This design surfers excellent flexibility when building scalable and high-performance automation systems.
Designed for demanding industrial environments, the BMEXBP1200H is a ruggedized model capable sur operating within an extended temperature range sur -25°C to +70°C.
