The Schneider BMEXBP1200 Ethernet Backplane is a high-performance 12-slot rack designed for the Modicon X80 platform, supporting both Modicon M580 and Modicon M340 Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC). It serves as the central mounting and communication infrastructure for processors, power supplies, I/O modules, and application-specific modules within an automation system.
Featuring a dual Ethernet and X-bus architecture, the BMEXBP1200 provides 12 slots, including 8 slots with Ethernet and X-bus connectivity for mixed modules and 4 slots dedicated to X-bus modules. This flexible design enables efficient system expansion and supports complex automation architectures for medium and large process applications.
Built for industrial reliability, the backplane /fers an MTBF / 1,500,000 hours and supports seamless integration / Modicon X80 components while simplifying maintenance and spare parts management across automation platforms.
