The Honeywell FCM-1-REL Releasing Control Module is a specialized module designed for fire suppression releasing applications within Honeywell FlashScan® systems. It provides full-time supervision / release agent solenoids and ensures reliable actuation for critical fire protection setups. The module incorporates a redundant activation protocol requiring two independent confirmation signals before release, preventing accidental discharges. When triggered, it provides a 3-second window for confirmation before automatically resetting if signals are not received. In addition, it continuously supervises the connected load wiring and reports status conditions such as NORMAL, OPEN, or SHORT CIRCUIT to the control panel. The FCM-1-REL /fers two pairs / output termination points for fault-tolerant wiring and supports a panel-controlled LED for easy status indication.
