The Bently Nevada 330106-05-30-10-02-TW 3300 XL 8 mm Reverse Mount Probe is a specialized eddy current displacement sensor engineered for non-contact measurement / shaft vibration, radial displacement, and axial position in rotating machinery. This reverse mount configuration allows the probe to be installed in confined spaces or in locations where conventional forward-mount probes are impractical, providing flexibility for complex machinery layouts.
Part / the 3300 XL series, this probe maintains the same high precision, stability, and reliability as standard probes. It generates a high-frequency electromagnetic field at the 8 mm probe tip, and variations in the distance between the probe and a conductive shaft alter the electromagnetic characteristics, producing a proportional voltage output. This signal is processed via a compatible Proximitor® sensor and monitoring module to provide accurate, real-time vibration and displacement data.
With a total length / 1.0 meter, the probe is suitable for installations requiring moderate cable routing while maintaining mechanical stability. It is widely applied in turbines, compressors, pumps, and motors where precise shaft monitoring is critical for machinery protection and predictive maintenance programs.
