The Allen-Bradley 1771-IVN Low True Input Module is a digital DC input module designed for the PLC-5 based 1771 I/O platform from Allen-Bradley. It is used to monitor discrete signals from field devices and transmit the signal status to the PLC processor for automation control and system monitoring.
The module provides 32 input points and operates with a 10–30 VDC signal range. It uses low-true logic, meaning the input is considered active when the signal is at a low voltage level. This logic configuration is useful in control systems where devices switch to ground to indicate an active state.
