The Allen Bradley 1769-ASCII CompactLogix ASCII Interface Module is a serial communication module designed for CompactLogix control systems that require direct integration with ASCII-based devices. This module enables controllers to exchange serial data with external equipment such as barcode scanners, printers, weigh scales, operator interfaces, and legacy industrial devices.
The 1769-ASCII module provides two independent communication channels and supports multiple serial standards including RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485.
