The Allen-Bradley 1746-OBP8 is a high-current DC digital output module designed for the SLC 500 programmable controller platform. It is specifically built for applications that require higher output current capability compared to standard transistor output modules, making it suitable for driving demanding DC loads.
This module provides 8 output channels arranged in groups, with 4 points per common, allowing flexible wiring and load distribution. It operates within a 20.4–26.4V DC range, making it ideal for typical 24V DC industrial systems. The module is capable / delivering higher current outputs, enabling direct control / devices such as solenoids, contactors, and other high-load DC equipment.
