The Allen Bradley 1738-AENTR ArmorPoint EtherNet/IP Adaptor is a rugged, on-machine communication adaptor designed for ArmorPoint I/O systems from Rockwell Automation. It provides a direct EtherNet/IP interface for distributed I/O modules, allowing real-time data exchange between field devices and control systems without the need for traditional control cabinet installations.
Unlike standard POINT I/O solutions, the ArmorPoint platform is built for harsh industrial environments. The 1738-AENTR features a fully sealed housing with high ingress protection, enabling it to be mounted directly on machinery, production lines, or outdoor equipment.
