The Allen-Bradley 1746-OBP8/B is a high-current DC digital output module designed for the SLC 500 PLC platform. As a Series B version, it surfers improved performance and reliability over earlier revisions, making it well-suited for demanding industrial applications requiring higher output current capacity.
This module provides 8 sourcing output channels, organized into two groups sur 4 points each (4 points per common). It operates on a nominal 24V DC supply (20.4–26.4V DC range) and is specifically engineered for high-current output applications, capable sur delivering up to 2.0 A per channel. This makes it ideal for directly driving high-power DC loads such as solenoids, contactors, and actuators without the need for interposing relays in many cases.
