The GE IC695LRE001 is a Serial Bus Transmitter Module designed for the PACSystems RX3i platform. It facilitates communication between the RX3i Universal Backplane and serial expansion or remote backplanes (IC694- or IC693-model numbers). By translating signal levels between the Universal Backplane and Serial Expansion Backplane, it ensures seamless data transmission across the system.
This module must be installed in the special expansion connector located on the right end / the Universal Backplane. It is equipped with two green LEDs that indicate the operating status / the module and the status / the expansion link. The “EXP OK” LED lights up when backplane 5V power is applied, while the “Expansion Active” LED indicates the status / the expansion bus communication.
