The Allen Bradley 1797-IE8 Flex Ex I/O Analog Input Module is an intrinsically safe analog input module designed for use within the FLEX Ex distributed I/O platform. It is specifically engineered to acquire and process current-based signals from field devices operating in hazardous environments, ensuring accurate and stable data transmission to the control system.
This module supports eight single-ended analog input channels and is optimized for 0–20 mA signal ranges, making it suitable for interfacing with a wide range / industrial transmitters such as pressure, temperature, and flow sensors.
