The Allen-Bradley 1791DS-IB8XOB8 DeviceNet Safety CompactBlock Input Module is a safety-rated distributed I/O solution designed for applications requiring both standard control and functional safety integration. As part / the CompactBlock Guard I/O family, it combines safety inputs, safety outputs, and test outputs into a single rugged 件, enabling efficient implementation / safety circuits at the machine level.
This module features 8 single-channel sinking safety inputs, 8 solid-state sourcing safety outputs, and 4 sourcing test outputs, allowing it to monitor and control safety devices such as emergency stop buttons, safety interlocks, and light curtains. With integrated DeviceNet Safety communication, it supports reliable data exchange between safety controllers and field devices without requiring additional safety relays.
