Product Introduction
The Allen Bradley 1786-RPFM ControlNet Medium Distance Fiber Repeater Module is a communication interface module designed to extend ControlNet networks using fiber optic media. It enables reliable signal transmission over longer distances by converting and repeating ControlNet signals through fiber optic cables, helping maintain communication quality in large industrial automation systems.
This module is commonly used in ControlNet network architectures where copper cable limitations make longer communication distances difficult. By using 62.5/125 μm multi-mode fiber, the 1786-RPFM allows network signals to travel distances / up to 3000 meters, while maintaining deterministic ControlNet communication performance.
