The Allen-Bradley 1771-NIS/B High Resolution Analog Input Module is a precision current input module designed for the PLC-5 based 1771 I/O platform from Allen-Bradley. It is engineered to capture and process high-accuracy analog current signals from industrial transmitters and field instruments.
The module supports eight analog current inputs and is optimized for standard 4–20 mA industrial signals. With integrated loop power capability, it can supply power directly to connected transmitters, simplifying wiring and reducing the need for additional external power supplies in control systems.
Installed in a 1771 I/O chassis, the 1771-NIS/B communicates with the PLC-5 controller through the system backplane.
