The Allen Bradley 1769-OW8 CompactLogix 8 Point Relay Output Module is a relay-based digital output module designed for the CompactLogix control platform. It provides 8 relay output channels that allow PLC systems to control both AC and DC loads, making it highly flexible for various industrial automation applications.
Unlike transistor-based output modules, the 1769-OW8 uses electromechanical relay contacts, enabling it to switch a wide range / voltages. It supports an operating voltage range / 5–265 VAC or 5–125 VDC, allowing it to control devices such as contactors, motors, lamps, alarms, and solenoid valves.
