The Allen Bradley 1761-NET-DNI DeviceNet Interface Module is a compact communication interface designed to connect MicroLogix controllers to a DeviceNet network. Manufactured by Allen-Bradley, this module enables legacy MicroLogix systems to integrate seamlessly into distributed control architectures without requiring major hardware upgrades.
The 1761-NET-DNI functions as a communication bridge between DF1 serial protocol and DeviceNet. It allows MicroLogix 1000, 1200, and 1500 controllers to operate as DeviceNet nodes, exchanging cyclic and explicit messages with scanners, remote I/O, drives, and other intelligent field devices.
Designed for industrial environments, the module provides stable and deterministic communication performance. Its compact housing makes it suitable for installation in control panels where space is limited, while maintaining reliable operation under demanding temperature conditions.
