The Allen-Bradley 1746-NT8 is a thermocouple and millivolt analog input module developed for the SLC 500 programmable controller platform. It is designed to acquire accurate temperature and low-level voltage signals in industrial automation systems where measurement stability and signal integrity are critical.
This module provides eight independent input channels, allowing higher channel density compared to standard thermocouple modules. It supports direct connection / thermocouples and millivolt signal sources, reducing system complexity by eliminating the need for external signal conditioning devices.
