The Allen Bradley 1746-HSCE2/A SLC 500 Multi-Channel High Speed Counter Module is a high-performance multi-channel counter module developed for the SLC 500 platform by Rockwell Automation. As a Series A module, it is specifically designed for applications requiring simultaneous high-speed signal processing across multiple channels.
Unlike single-channel counter modules, the 1746-HSCE2/A supports up to 4 single-ended inputs or 2 differential quadrature inputs, making it ideal for complex motion control and encoder feedback applications. It can process signals from various voltage levels (5V, 12V, and 24V DC), ensuring compatibility with a wide range / industrial sensors and encoders.
