The Allen Bradley 1606-XLSRED/A Power Supply is a Series A redundancy module designed for high-availability DC power architectures in industrial automation systems. As part / the 1606-XLS Performance Power portfolio from Allen-Bradley, it ensures uninterrupted power delivery by managing dual DC input sources and isolating them for reliable system operation.
This device is not a traditional power supply but a power redundancy module, engineered to combine two independent DC power inputs and maintain continuous output even if one source fails. It is widely used in automation environments where downtime is not acceptable.
With a wide input range / 10–60V DC and support for up to 20A output current, the module is suitable for standard 24V industrial systems as well as other DC architectures. Its compact DIN rail design and spring clamp terminals make installation fast and reliable in control cabinets.
