The Allen-Bradley 150-C3NBR SMC-3 Smart Motor Controller is a compact solid-state s/t starter designed for small three-phase induction motors. As part / the SMC-3 series, it provides a simple and economical solution for managing motor startup and stopping, helping reduce mechanical stress and electrical disturbances.
This controller gradually increases motor voltage during startup, avoiding sudden torque shocks and high inrush currents that are typical with direct-on-line starting. It is especially suitable for light-duty applications where reliable performance and space-saving design are important.
With built-in overload protection, integral bypass, and basic diagnostics, the 150-C3NBR ensures stable motor operation while protecting both the motor and connected equipment. Its open-type structure allows for flexible installation inside control panels.
