The Allen-Bradley 1794-ACNR15 Flex I/O ControlNet Redundant Adapter Module is a high-reliability communication interface designed for distributed I/O systems requiring redundant network connections. Part of the Flex I/O ControlNet family, it allows Flex I/O modules to be connected to dual ControlNet networks, ensuring continuous operation even if one network fails.
This adapter features two ControlNet BNC ports and supports ControlNet protocol version 1.5 at a network speed of 5 Mbps. It integrates a 24 VDC power supply to feed the FlexBus backplane, delivering up to 640 mA to connected modules.
