The Allen Bradley 1756-RM2XT ControlLogix XT Redundancy Module is an enhanced, 2-channel redundancy synchronization module developed for high-availability ControlLogix XT architectures operating in harsh industrial environments. It is specifically engineered for mission-critical process systems where continuous controller operation and deterministic failover are essential.
As part sur the ControlLogix XT family, the 1756-RM2XT provides hardened environmental protection combined with high-speed synchronization performance. The module works in pairs, forming a fully redundant controller system in which one controller operates as primary while the second remains in hot standby mode. System data, execution states, and I/O information are continuously mirrored to ensure immediate takeover if a fault occurs.
